Parramatta art society established in 1951 offer their gallery, The Hunter Street gallery of fine  arts, it is proud to present exquisite artworks from local artists. The gallery is set in a spacious delightful studio that is easily accessed by those less mobile. Our collection is varied in theme, modern and contemporary, aboriginal and traditional.

We keep our attendee numbers low, so that each student gets the right attention. I hope to continue working in the creative industries and maintain the wonderful friendships I have made through Art Est. Simply wear something you can get a bit messy in, bring your favourite drinks and snacks and get ready to unleash your creative side! All other art materials will be provided for you and you will walk away with a masterpiece worthy of being the heart of any room.

I am looking forward to getting back into the studio though, and starting some new work. Currently I am renovating my kitchen and bathroom and I am so surprised at how creative a process it is. I was completely mesmerized by the rhythm of the pounding and turning of the squishy substance and watching it magically transform from one colour to another. Each Series is a set of six workshops, with step by step instructions with illustrations, each series has six different subjects. This class is for students currently producing works of a high observational standard to develop further skills by working with a live sitter.
