Bayswater Childcare Centre & Kindergarten

The center is clean and fresh, and offers great learning tools for my two children. We have been attending this center for nearly two years and I aim to have my children transition to school from this center. Every day, we nurture strong connections between families, educators, children and the wider community. Through inclusive events, regular updates and hands-on experiences – from community gardens to visits from special guests, every child feels confident, included and inspired to learn.
Spread across two levels, our dedicated Nursery and Kinder areas are connected by a central staircase, allowing these differing developmental groups to learn, play, run and explore effortlessly within their own kindergartens bayswater purpose-built spaces. Knox City Council acknowledges the traditional custodians of the City of Knox, the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong people of the Kulin Nation. Bayswater Primary School is located in the heart of Bayswater approximately 7 kilometres North East of the Perth CBD.

Pre-Kindergarten children commencing throughout the year will be charged on a pro rata basis of the annual tuition fee. We foster a learning environment that celebrates diversity, embraces differences, and builds a culture of kindness, empathy, and inclusion. From day one, each child is supported by a Key Educator, helping them develop a secure and trusting relationship, which supports their sense of belonging and emotional well-being. It’s common for a child to experience separation anxiety when they first start child care. When you’re getting ready to start child care, you can help your child overcome anxieties by visiting the child care service together for a Stay and  Play session, and easing into new routines at home.

You should start thinking about Kindergarten well in advance of your child’s start date. Many programs, especially popular ones with exceptional reputations, fill up more than 12 months in advance. Obviously, the earlier you start looking, find a program and register, the more chance you have of getting your first choice.

By enrolling in our high-quality, teacher-led program, children gain the confidence, independence, and foundational skills they need for future success. We offer a play-based, educational program that is nurturing, inclusive, and individualised. As part of our commitment to school readiness, we deliver an Early Language Program through our funded Kindergarten, helping to build strong foundational communication skills.
At Meraki Early Learning Centre Mooroolbark we offer a three-year-old Kindergarten and a four-year-old Kindergarten program, every Monday to Friday during school terms each year. I am a very passionate working with children, I have 3 years experience with children. I have a daughter who is 4 years and I enjoy spending time with her at the moment I am an Educator working in nursery room. We open your child’s mind to the outdoors, raising their awareness of the environment and the importance of their role in protecting it.

More families living in Bayswater will have access to kinder and childcare places and Maternal and Child Health Services, thanks to the Andrews Labor Government. We get to go up to the local primary school and have a few classes such as PE, Art and Music. Children have fun, get to know a primary school, and experience the different kinds of classes they will be involved in next year. I'm Gladys, a third year uni student at Monash Uni studying science. I love kids so much and have been taking care of them for over 5 years, initially starting by looking after younger cousins and siblings. I have experience with newborns, infants all the way up to teenagers and can help with... I’m a paediatric nurse with over 13 years experience looking after sick children. I  have many years of babysitting/nannying experience over the years.
The smell of cooking from the cucina and seeing children getting involved in cooking, very much reflects that our passion for food in all our Early Schools. We regularly review room availability, as a result, you will receive a text message confirming if you’re still happy to remain on the waitlist each month or if your plans have changed. Offers and placements at Arrabri Kindergarten are managed exclusively by MIKA. Arrabri educators and EV Early Years Management (EV EYM) do not influence this initial placement process.
