This is the place to be on a rainy day with a whole network of interconnected trampolines, where you can play trampoline dodgeball, bounce into the huge foam pit and take on a challenging climbing wall.
It’s also named for the fact that sharks have been seen in the harbour (hence the nets). Not far away is a waterfront restaurant that serves ice cream, drinks and food, including fantastic modern Italian cuisine. If you have a little more time, enjoy walking around to Mrs Macquarie’s Chair, which offers amazing views of the city. This is a wonderful rainy day activity for adults, (or should I say evening).

The best one for kids is Wendy’s Secret Garden as there are loads of paths so the kids can go exploring without running off. In this two-hour class, you’ll be taught by a professional chef and you’ll be able to get stuck into learning new cooking techniques with your kids. The easiest way to get around is by public transport, including trains, buses, light rail (trams) and ferries. Here you can see some of the most stunning waterfalls in New South Wales.
